Bits and Pieces Matthew James Howell, 51, was charged with one count of aggravated robbery when he removed two 18-packs of Bud Light from the beer cooler at Pilot Travel Center without paying for it. Former Pastor Alfred Murillo was featured in a Standard Examiner article explaining how golf has resulted in many blessings being poured out for him and countless others. He was pictured with Layton Christian Academy student Logan Sunderland at Toad's Fun Zone in Marriott-Slaterville. Murillo's son, Isaiah, had a brain tumor when he was 4 years old and the family used golf as a way to stay active and positive. Murillo currently coaches the golf teams at Layton Christian Academy. GriDeli's North, a local restaurant located at 380 N 2000 W in Marriott-Slaterville celebrated their 3rd Anniversary. They are independently owned and family operated and winners of the Standard Examiner's Reader's Choice for Best Sandwich and Best Burger! |
