Show Happy 90th Birthday! Marian B. Creamer Marian B. Creamer will celebrate her 90th birthday on July 15, 2015. A family dinner will be held on July 12, 2015 at her daughter's home. Marian was born July 15, 1925 in West Weber to Charles L. Buck and Ethel Mower. She was raised on a beet farm and learned the value of working hard. and then if you had time you played. She married Ron H. Creamer on June 30, 1942 in Malad, Idaho. They had six children; DixieLee (Ken) Little, Karen (Jeff) Johnson, DeEttee (Lyle) Harrop, Ron ,L. Creamer, Chris Daren Creamer (Deceased), and DaNene (Derek) Flores. She has 12 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren and counting. Marian has had many hobbies throughout her life. She enjoyed horseback riding and rode with her daughters in the Westernette Riding Club for many years. She loves being outdoors and working in her flower garden. Her yard has always been one of the loveliest on the block. She is an enthusiastic animal lover especially birds and cats. She has taught her children to love and respect the wild life and the beauty of nature that surrounds them. She is an accomplished seamstress and made everything her kids wore. She is also very handy with a hammer and saw. She can build anything. Her husband would say "He was afraid to go on a vacation because he wasn't sure where the front door would be." Her greatest joy and .the center of her world have been her children. She has instilled in them that family is everything. Happy 50th Anniversary! DianaLee and Larry Thorsted DianaLee and Larry Thorsted of Marriott-Slaterville celebrated their 50th anniversary on August 15, 2015. Their children hosted the event, which included dinner and a great big party. They were married on August 20, 1965 in the Idaho Falls Temple of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. DianaLee graduated from Ontario High School in 1965 and Larry from Sandy High School in 1959. They raised six daughters: LeAnn, Annette, Kathy, Amy, Nancy, and Kim. They have 13 grandchildren and five great-grandsons. DianaLee was raised on a dairy farm and was determined not to marry a farmer. She found her city boy but the city boy fell in love with DianaLee's family farm. After ten years of marriage they became dairy farmers. Larry was in the Air Force Reserve, as an aircraft mechanic for four years. After 30 years he retired from North Ogden Jr. High as a head custodian and sold the farm. After retirement they fulfill their dreams by traveling. They lived in Soldotna, Alaska for two summers. They traveled the Oregon Coast and Canada. |
