One seat is open in each of the two election districts, and the one at-large seat is open. Those interested in running for one of these council seats must file a Declaration of Candidacy, in person, with the City Recorder at the Municipal Building located at 1570 West 400 North, during office hours as prescribed by law between June 1 and June 8. A Nomination Petition may also be filed during the same time period. Filing fees apply. A person filing a declaration of candidacy for a municipal office shall meet the requirements of Utah Code 20A-9-203. Candidates must also file campaign financial disclosure statements as required by state law.
