As Autumn Turns to Winter This year has gone fast and fall is here, so winter is close. Although we expect another mild winter, all city parks close for reservations on October 15lh and will reopen April 15th. The city pressurized irrigation systems should be shut down and weatherized the first of October. Be sure to weatherize your own irrigation systems. Autumn provides optimum weather and ample opportunity to garden and prune trees. It's harvest time, a great time to plant bulbs, prune trees, and to pull weeds. Happy autumn gardening! |
