Show CELEBRATE DOLORES! 80 has never looked this good! Join us in a celebration of Dolores 80th birthday! WHEN: Saturday, Feb. 28th from 13 PM (Open House) WHERE: Marriott Slaterville City Offices 1570 W 400 N Slaterville, UT 84404 February 22, 2015 Happy 80th Birthday! Dolores M. Slater The children of Dolores Slater are excited to celebrate her 80th Birthday on Saturday, February 28, 2015. Friends and family are invited to attend an open house from 1 to 3 p.m. At Marriott-Slaterville City Office Building, 1570 W. 400 N, Marriott-Slaterville. No gifts please. Dolores was born March 5,1935 in Plain City to Abe and Mona Maw. She grew up in Plain City and married her Weber High School Sweetheart, Elwin James Slater from Slaterville, Utah on September 26, 1952 in the Salt Lake Temple. Elwin died on May 10,1995 in Slaterville where they had lived their whole married life. Together they have five children: Doloy (Mike) Skeen, Shawnee (Larry) Adams, Scott (deceased) (Mary Ann) Slater, Winn (deceased) (Janis) Slater, Mindy (Barry) Nebeker. She has 23 grandchildren and 39 greatgrandchildren. Dolores is a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and has held many church callings. After many years of being a stay at home mom, she worked as a cook at Wahlquist Jr. High and then moved on to work at I.R.S. Dolores's favorite hobby has been playing the organ. She enjoys going with her friends from the Piano Gallery to classes and has many memories of going on trips with them. Dolores values her many friendships, especially her neighbors who took care of her in her years as a widow. She loved going on trips with her husband and the many adventures they had together. She misses him so much. We love you Mom. Happy 80th Birthday. |
