Show 4A Wednesday, May 6, 2015 2015 Nominated Teachers NEWSPAPERS IN EDUCATION "Who is your favorite teacher and why?" Newspapers in Education asked that question and approximately 5,000 nominations were received and over 1,200 teachers were nominated. Nominations were submitted by students, parents and fellow educators. Each teacher nominated has been listed in this special section. Some teachers were nominated more than once, but their names are only listed once. As we honor our teachers for being the best, we are reminded of the commitment to excellence in education they give each and every day. Thank you, teachers, for the hard work and selfless commitment you offer to the young people in our schools. Throughout this section, you can read comments from the winning entries. Picking ten winners out of thousands of entries was a very difficult task. Every teacher deserves to be recognized. It's rewarding to know we have so many kind, fun, motivating, intelligent, cool, awesome, patient, amazing and giving (just a few of the accolades used by students) individuals working with our children.
