Show the LDS Ben Lomond Stake. For many years I wrote and directed plays, skits, road shows and sacred prog¬rams for the Church. Two of the road shows and the 1975 bi-centennial musical observing the birthday of the United States were taken to Salt Lake City in conjunction with the MIA General Conference. I have written and arranged music for choirs, choruses, quartets, trios, trum¬pet trios, violin ensembles and a dance band. I have also written some poetry, limricks and verse for MIA and Relief Society programs. I was married to David M. Shupe (deceased), and we were parents of four sons and two 'borrowed children', an Indian youth and my niece. We lived in North Ogden nearly all of our married lives—over 50 years together. TO THOSE WHO TRAVELED THE EXTRA MILE Margaret Warner Ranson...a strength, inspiration and comfort through many trying times. Always ready to run errands, check data and various sources of information. Acting as buffer in times of stress, always saying the right thing at the right tine, who loyally took on the responsibility of treasurer, a difficult assignment. Charles A. Robinson. . . .typing and retyping the entire manuscript, spending untold hours without complaint for the many mistakes on the poorly prepared first draft. He supplied beautiful pictures and fine articles and gave timely advice and words of incouragement. Shirley Wilkinson....offered her assistance and did an outstanding job so long as she was involved. Because of the need for closer supervision and because Shirley had an opp¬ortunity to accompany her husband to Europe, the typing responsibility was placed on anothers shoulders. June Warner Poll....her encouragement and assistance in gathering information in Morgan County and providing 'taxi' service! to and from Logan several times. Elwood Williams and Berneice Robinson Day. . . .for remembering long-forgotten stories which added so much to the Book, and generaously sharing them with me. Eleroy Rasmuson and Herald Printing Company of Logan. Their patience and much needed suggestions, along with their excellent printing, is greatly appreciated. MARGARET W. RANSON CHARLES A.
