Show ject which was sponsored in the little community. When John Heber and Lenora Robinson had two children die with Black Dyptheria, Robert and his brothers came to the Robinson farm and took care of the chores, relieving the stricken family of that worry. After the handsome brick home was built on the ranch Robert purchased the little frame school house near Gordon Creek, and moved it onto his property. This building Ileen used as a wash house. ROBERT KIPPEN PROUDLY DISPLAYS SET OF SILVERWARE, FIRST PRIZE FOR HIS FAT HOGS IN THE OGDEN LIVESTOCK SHOW. BROTHER JIM STANDS AT RIGHT One year Robert won first prize for a carload of fat hogs, and was presented with a set of silverware. The hogs were shown at the Ogden Livestock Show. Robert was assisted on the ranch by his brothers, George and Jim along with 'Big Bill' Smith, Ileen's brother. Robert Alexander Kippen died at the family home 23 Dec. 1945. Ileen rented the farm to Lee and Harold Rollins. She later rented the house and moved into a part of the big Rollins home on the main road. She died in an Ogden hospital, 23 August 1961.
