Caroline was born 28 January 1851 in Furze Hill, Pembroke, Wales, a dau¬ghter of James and Elizabeth Woodrough Williams. She died 25 July 1947 in Ogden. She had married John Nicholas, son of George and Harriet Llewellyn Nicholas, born 31 December 1839 in Loveston Parish, Pembroke, Wales. He died in Ogden 3 September 1878.
