Show MARK LORENZO AND IDA BELL FRONK JENNE Mark Lorenzo Jenne was the fifth child and fourth son born to William Henry and Laura Minetta Johnston Jenne, and was born, 10 July 1884, in Gentile Valley, Idaho. He attended Mound Fort Elementary School on 12th Street and Washington Avenue, and graduated from the Ogden Business College, Mark Lorenzo's first job was at the Craig Canning Company at Five Points, and his wages were 25 cents per hour for a 10-hour day. His brother, Wallace, also worked at the canning factory carrying cans upstairs. He was paid 35 cents per hour for a 10 hour day. The family moved to what was the Joshua Williams ranch on the bench in Mount¬ain Green where they lived for about seven years. Mark Lorenzo Jenne married Ida Belle Fronk on 17 October 1908, on his parents 35th wedding anniversary. The new¬ly weds moved to Mountain Green where they lived for several years. In 1910 Mark Lorenzo and Ida Belle moved back to Ogden where he worked at the Five Points Coal and Lumber Company. He had an old Studebaker wagon and a team of horses and worked as a teamaster until 1912. He was very proud of his team and regretted that he never did get a picture of the horses. In February of 1913 the Jenne family moved to Salt Lake City where Mark Loren¬zo worked for the Utah Power and Light Company at the West Temple station as well as the upper and lower stations in Cottonwood Canyon. He was noted for the beautiful flowers which he planted in the windows of the stations. He also planted three oleanders, a lemon tree and an orange tree, plant¬ed in tubs. Mark Lorenzo moved to McGill, Nevada in 1917, where he worked as an electric¬ian's helper. His family joined him in McGill and he began working for the Kennicott Copper Company, where he worked as a 'trouble shooter.' He was a member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers for 50 years, retiring in 1953. He served as a scoutmaster for several years. After his retirement, Mark Lorenzo and Ida Belle bought a home in Salt Lake City where they moved. In August of 1956, Ida Belle died and Mark was left a widower for five years, doing his own washing, cooking and cleaning of the house. On 16 March 1961, he married Florence Scott.
