It is my understanding, as the attorney for both sets of sponsors, that you will now set the public hearings within the proposed cities in accordance with Utah Code Section 10-2-108, a copy of which is enclosed. I would suggest that you calendar on your agenda for Tuesday, April 21 and/or Thursday, April 23 "discussion and action regarding scheduling public hearings for the results of the Marriott-Slaterville and Warren-Reese feasibility studies." I would further suggest as possible locations for the public hearings the following locations (I have not yet talked with any of these people): 1. Countryside Grille, 1720 West 12th St., Marriott, UT 84404 (731-8000) Or Farm Bureau Insurance, 1235 West 12th St., Marriott, UT 84404 (399-5868) 2. Pioneer Elementary School, 250 North 1600 West, Slaterville, UT 84404 (626-2503) 3. Warren Bowery and Park, 1400 North 5900 West, Warren, UT 84404 (call scheduler Lee Folkman, 1413 North 5900 West, Warren, UT 84404, 731-0809) 4. West Warren (Reese) Bowery and Park, approx. 7500 West on 900 South, Reese, UT (call A. Craig Saunders, 6871 West 900 South, Reese, UT 84404, 731-6093) I thank you for your continued assistance in this regard, and I express appreciation for the cooperation and support of the other Weber County officials and employees who have been involved in this process. Sincerely, Duncan Torr Murray Attorney at Law DTM/dtm Encl. cc: Sponsors 108 |
