The collection includes Autobiographies, Oral Histories, History of Marriott, History of Slaterville, and the History of the Merging Townships to create Marriott-Slaterville City. This information has left behind rich histories, stories and important information regarding the history of the Marriott-Slaterville area. |

Show Citizen/Community Involvement The Citizen/Community Involvement program of the study involves one-on-one and group meetings with local municipal and county officials, the Advisory Committee meetings, citizen public meetings/hearings conducted within the local government framework, and area-wide public meetings and open houses. Two public open houses are scheduled to be held in the latter half of June 2000 - one in north Davis County, and the other in Weber County. Davis County open house: Wednesday, June 21, 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., North Exhibitions Hall of the Davis County Fairgrounds, 151 South 1100 West, Farmington. Weber County open house Wednesday, June 28, 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Exhibition Hall, Weber County Fairgrounds, 1000 North 1200 West, Ogden. Maps, aerial photographs, map location of alternative alignments, written material and other resources about the study and the corridor will be made available at these open houses. These open houses will be further announced to the citizenry through utility billings, newsletters, and in the daily and local newspapers.
