Show Notice of Public Hearing Regarding the Number of and Terms of City Council Members and the Drawing of Council District Boundaries for MARRIOTT-SLATERVILLE CITY Public Hearing Date: Thursday, August 20, 1998 Time: 6:30 p.m. Public Hearing Location: Pioneer Elementary School 250 North 1 600 West Marriott-Slaterville, UT 84404 Notice is hereby given that a public hearing will be held by the Sponsors for Marriott-Slaterville City at the above referenced date, time and location for the purpose of determining the total number of council members that will constitute the city council of Marriott-Slaterville City. Furthermore, since the majority of the voters voting at the August 4, 1998, incorporation election voted for the Council-Mayor form of government and voted to elect council members by district, notice is also given that the Sponsors shall also determine the following at the public hearing: 1) the number of city council members to be elected by council district and the boundaries of the council districts (which shall be of substantially equal population), and 2) the initial terms of the mayor and city council members. The Sponsors shall also submit in writing to the Weber County Commission the results of the Sponsors' determinations from the Public hearing.
