Show August 10, 1998 MARRIOTT- SLATERVILLE FOR TIME AND ALL ETERNITY Marriott-Slaterville Hearing to decide council set-up Weber County's newest city is set to divide itself up into districts for representation on its city council. A public hearing has been scheduled for 6:30 p.m., Aug. 20, at Pioneer Elementary School, 250 N. 1600 West, to determine the number of council members. On Aug. 4 voters approved incorporating the city and having a council-mayor form of government. Once the number of council members is determined, the city will be divided up into voting districts of equal population. Sponsors of the measure will conduct the public hearing and present a report to the Weber County Commission on the results. 156 |
