Show ARTICLES OF INCORPORATION OF MARRIOTT-SLATERVILLE CITY Pursuant to the provisions of Utah Code Sections 10-2-101 et. seq., and in particular, Utah Code Section 10-2-119, Marriott-Slaterville City, in Weber County, Utah, acting by its Mayor-Elect, states the following as its Articles of Incorporation: 1. The name of the municipality is Marriott-Slaterville City. 2. The geographical description of Marriott-Slaterville City is attached hereto as Exhibit "A" and is made a part hereof by this reference. 3. Marriott-Slaterville City is a "third class city" as defined in Utah Code Section 10-2-301, having a population of 1508, which is 800 or more inhabitants but less than 60,000 inhabitants. 4. Marriott-Slaterville City is and shall be organized under the Council-Mayor optional form of government adopted by the majority of voters voting in the incorporation election. 5. Marriott-Slaterville City shall exercise the powers and duties conferred by state law for municipalities classified as third class cities. 6. The final election of the city officers, which includes the mayor and five city council members, was held on November 3, 1998, and said final election results have subsequently been canvassed.
