Orvil Holley Address: 575 South 2050 West, Marriott-Slaterville City, Utah Where born: Slaterville, Utah How long you have lived in Marriott/Slaterville area? Seventy-four years Profession or work: Retired L.D.S. Church Education System Position filled: Member of City Council Responsibilities: Chair of City Council, Second Alternate/Representative to WACOG, Council director of Recorder, histories, Youth Council, Newsletter, Board of Adjustments, Magistrate. Prior involvement with planning, township and/or incorporation efforts: Served on early planning advisory committee of Slaterville. Elected Slaterville Township board member. Served to help Slaterville become Township, and when townships were discontinued, worked to bring about the City of Marriott-Slaterville. Special ties to the City: Life-long resident here, descended from early pioneer settlers. I have been involved in trying to keep the area a good place for families and all good people to live. Your vision for the City's future: The area will grow. In order to keep this community as rural as possible, we must find ways to manage growth, and keep involved in the process.
