I have never lived in this area, but I have worked for Marriott-Slaterville as a volunteer or paid since early 1996. Profession or work: Attorney Position filled: City Attorney/City Administrator Responsibilities: Oversee and coordinate (under the direction of the Mayor and Council) all day-to-day operations of the City and to fulfill all assignments given on a full time 40 hour per week basis. Prior involvement with planning, township and/or incorporation efforts: I was the attorney who assisted the Marriott and Slaterville Townships in their petition efforts. I also assisted with lobbying against unfavorable changes to the Township laws. Finally, I was the attorney for the incorporation of Marriott-Slaterville City. Special ties to the City: I have many friends that live in the city. Your vision for the City's future: To retain and improve upon the rural character of the City, to live up to the "Open Space City" designation, to help provide adequate municipal services and an excellent quality of life for residents and business owners.
