Show 2. Utah. The show that follows may not be completely spontaneous, but I guarantee you that it is entirely unrehearsed. The talent may not be good but it works cheap, and this is just as Dyk would want it. My initial remarks will cover the formative years that molded the Dykstras' characters before they joined Utah. Both Ermina and Orville were raised in Pella, Iowa --an accident of birth and not of choice. Hard as it may seem to realize now that the Dykstras have put the place on the map, there was a time when people in societies less sophisticated than this used to have to ask where Pella was and be satisfied with the explanation that it was at the intersection of a line drawn north from Lovilia and south from Kellogg, east from |
