USED, WRITTEN-DOWN EQUIPMENT COMING OFF CONSTRUCTION WORK AND HEADED FOR THE STORAGE YARD, AND CONFINE OUR OPERATIONS ONLY TO MINERAL DEPOSITS TOO SMALL TO INTEREST OUR MINING COMPANY CLIENTS, FORTUNATELY OUR FIRST MINE WAS ABLE TO SURVIVE THIS APPROACH BUT LATER WE REALIZED ALL THIS REASONING WAS WRONG. SMALL MINES WERE MORE TROUBLE THAN BIG MINES. USED EQUIPMENT PURCHASED FOR ANOTHER PURPOSE WAS NO WAY TO EQUIP A MINE, CONSTRUCTION MEN COULD MOVE EARTH BUT IT TOOK MINING MEN TO DECIDE WHAT EARTH TO MOVE AND HOW MINERAL DEPOSITS WERE BEST DEVELOPED, SO WE SET OUT TO ACQUIRE MINING PERSONNEL AND HERE THE RECORD SUGGESTS WE CAME UP WITH THE BEST. BECAUSE WE WERE ON THE MOVE WHILE OUR COMPETITORS WERE PROCEEDING LESS AGGRESSIVELY, WE ATTRACTED THOSE WHO WERE MORE VENTURESOME, MORE DETERMINED TO GET THINGS DONE, MORE SKILLED IN CONCEIVING WHAT TO DO. UTAH HAS DISPLAYED OVER THE YEARS THE ABILITY TO RECOGNIZE |
