Show 31. in late calendar year 1974. We have also recently announced agreements to furnish Navajo coal for a coal gasification project to be owned and operated by Pacific Lighting and Texas Eastern Gas Transmission. The initial plant will require 9. 6 million tons of coal annually, and additional plants - two and possibly three more -are contemplated. This is a very exciting program but I caution that it cannot go forward until additional approvals from the Navajo Tribe and governmental regulatory agencies are obtained. Therefore we have not included this new contract in our mineral sales backlog and shall not until the program becomes firm. In my view the prospects for continued growth |
