Show FEB 28 1976 SPEECH AMC GENTLEMEN: GOOD AFTERNOON AND WELCOME TO THIS LUNCHEON WHOSE PURPOSE IS TO BRING TOGETHER THE CHIEF EXECUTIVES OF THE LEADING MINING COMPANIES SO THAT THE AMERICAN MINING CONGRESS MAY REPORT TO YOU ON ITS ACTIVITIES UNDERTAKEN ON YOUR BEHALF. IN HIS ABSENCE OUR CHAIRMAN, IAN MACGREGOR, HAS ASKED ME AS AMC's FINANCIAL CHAIRMAN TO PRESIDE, MY NAME IS ED LITTLEFIELD, CHAIRMAN OF UTAH INTERNATIONAL. OUR PROGRAM TODAY CONSISTS FIRST OF REMARKS BY ALLEN OVERTON, THE VERY HARD-WORKING AND EFFECTIVE PRESIDENT OF THE AMERICAN MINING CONGRESS.
