Show 36. additional reserves. For coal and the hard rock minerals we feel that we face a strong future. Utah has signed a merger agreement with Ladd Petroleum to acquire that company on the basis of one share of Utah for four shares of Ladd. The deal is subject to approval by the Ladd shareholders who are scheduled to meet on November 28. Assuming such approval is forthcoming, this will represent a new entry by Utah into the energy field. Utah's primary objective in the Ladd deal is to obtain an organization with the demonstrated capacity to acquire reserves of oil and gas through providing that company with additional money for acquisition, exploration and development.
