Because nuclear generating plants have not come on stream as scheduled, the uranium market is soft for near-term deliveries but still strong for deliveries late in the seventies. However, the markets for the other minerals that we produce - coking coal, iron ore, steam coal, and copper - have strengthened as the economic tempo has accelerated in the United States, Japan, and Europe. In 1973 we anticipate improved profits arising out of increased volumes and well-sustained margins.
