AT THE TIME OF THE SALE THE CONSTRUCTION DIVISION ACCOUNTED FOR OVER 60% OF OUR GROSS REVENUES, 48% OF OUR SALARIED EMPLOYMENT AND 69% OF OUR TOTAL EMPLOYMENT. IT WAS THE TRADITIONAL BUSINESS OF THE COMPANY BUT WE WERE CONVINCED THAT IT HAD TO GO BECAUSE IT WAS NOT A SUITABLE ACTIVITY FOR A PUBLIC COMPANY ABOUT TO UNDERTAKE A PROGRAM OF EXPANSION THAT WOULD REQUIRE THE BORROWING OF MORE MONEY THAN THE COMPANY HAD NET WORTH.
