Show 6. THANK YOU ALLEN. LET ME NOW TURN TO THE BUDGET. FOR THE CURRENT YEAR 1976 WE ARE FARING BETTER THAN WE HAD ANTICIPATED. INCOME IS RUNNING 7.3% AHEAD OF THE $3.8 MILLION BUDGETED, THANKS TO HIGHER INCOME FROM THE COAL SHOW, THE METAL MINING CONVENTION, THE MINING CONGRESS JOURNAL, AND FROM DUES. MEANWHILE EXPENSES WERE ONLY 1.6% AHEAD OF THE $3.6 MILLION BUDGETED. THIS IS TYPICAL OF THE CLOSE SURVEILLANCE AND TIGHT CONTROL EXERCISED BY THE STAFF AND MONITORED CLOSELY BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS AND THE EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE. BECAUSE OF THESE DEVELOPMENTS THE GENERAL RESERVE AT YEAR END SHOULD BE $1.6 MILLION RATHER THAN THE $1.4 MILLION FORECAST IN THE 1976 BUDGET.
