Show 10. BANKS, ACCOUNTING, LEGAL, AND INDIVIDUAL MEMBERS. FROM THE 17% PROVIDED IN 1969 THIS GROUP'S SUPPORT HAS DROPPED TO 14 1/2% IN 1976, DESPITE A SUBSTANTIAL INCREASE IN MEMBERSHIP. CONVERSELY THE MINING COMPANIES CONTRIBUTED 83% IN 1969 AND 85.5% IN 1976. #3 - THE LARGEST CONTRIBUTOR IN 1969 TO THE DUES TOTAL WAS THE COAL INDUSTRY WHICH PROVIDED 18.1% OF ALL AMC DUES AND 21.8% OF THE DUES CONTRIBUTED BY MINING COMPANIES. THIS HAS DECLINED TO 12.9% OF TOTAL DUES AND 15.1% OF MINING COMPANY DUES IN 1976. #4 - -CONVERSELY DUES PROVIDED BY THE COPPER INDUSTRY AMOUNTED TO 15.9% OF THE TOTAL IN 1969 AND 19.2% OF THE MINING COMPANY SHARE. IN 1976 COPPER WILL PROVIDE 22.9% OF TOTAL DUES AND 26.8% OF MINING COMPANY DUES, DROPPING FROM THE HIGH IN 1974 OF 26.9% OF THE TOTAL AND 31% OF MINING COMPANY DUES RESPECTIVELY BECAUSE OF THE FALL THIS LAST YEAR IN COPPER PRICES. |
