Show 12. of having our production schedules interrupted by labor stoppages of the type where there is no really valid dispute between the company and its workers. In Peru and more recently in Australia we have found the local unions working in our mines forced to accept the dictates of the national unions which were striving for political or economic goals that were not genuine grievances which could be settled by face-to-face negotiation between the local union and the local mine management. This is not a problem that concerns me deeply for the long run, since we can in time recover whatever production is lost in order to meet contractual delivery requirements. However it can have serious short term impacts that can affect monthly or quarterly results. Quite frankly, I consider that our prospects far outbalance the problems that we must face and overcome.
