H. WATTIS, E. O. WATTIS, AND A. H. CHRISTENSEN DIED AND HAD NOT PROVIDED FOR TRULY SUITABLE SUCCESSION. EVEN AT THE OUTSET THE UTAH CONSTRUCTION COMPANY DIFFERED FROM MOST CONSTRUCTION COMPANIES WHO BEGAN AS SOLE PROPRIETORSHIPS OR PARTNERSHIPS WITH THE PRINCIPALS ACTIVE IN THE BUSINESS ON A FULLTIME BASIS, EVEN WHEN IT WAS FOUNDED TWO THIRDS OF UTAH'S SHARES WERE HELD BY THOSE NOT ACTIVE IN THE DAILY MANAGEMENT OF THE BUSINESS AND THROUGHOUT ITS EXISTENCE NO SINGLE FAMILY OF SHARE-HOLDERS HAS HAD VOTING CONTROL.
