Show These are not unreasonable or irresponsible demands and the poor are increasingly impatient that society must provide them. Throughout the country the more thoughtful and more compassionate well-to-do are also saying that these demands must be met because we can do it, we should do it, and we must find a way to do it if we are to perpetuate a free democratic private enterprise society ruled under laws established by a representative government, respected by the people, and administered with justice. The problem will not be solved easily and it will not be solved quickly, but it must be solved ultimately.
