Show 9. The size of our backlog and the protection that it provides against future cost increases, coupled with the stability of price for most of our products, gives our earnings a reliability and a predictability that sets us apart from most other mining companies and indeed from most other companies engaged in any industry. In less than two decades we have risen from the unranked to one of the world's major mining companies. We are convinced that we have a plan that works and men in place that can work the plan. The problems we may face in the future would appear to have no greater dimensions than the problems we have overcome in the past. And now we have the added strength to seize opportunities that were beyond our reach in days gone by. As far as I am concerned, Utah Construction & Mining Co. has just begun to fight! |
