Show 15. nor does it include the new contracts for coal gasification at Navajo or long-term coal deliveries from a new mine at Craig, Colorado. 85% of the mineral sales backlog as reported is represented by contracts containing escalation protection against future cost increases. It is my view that the presence of and nature of this backlog give a degree of assurance of earnings and a predictability of earnings that sets Utah apart from other companies either within or without the mining industry. 18 I would be less than candid if I did not admit to you that I am proud of the accomplishments that Utah International has made in this decade of progress and I am proud and privileged now to present to you the members of that management |
