Show 30. CONCLUSION. RARE IS THE CONSTRUCTION COMPANY THAT SURVIVES ITS FOUNDERS BUT BECHTEL AND UTAH ARE EXCEPTIONS. I HAVE A UTAH CONSTRUCTION COMPANY CODE BOOK FROM 1917 WHEN THE TELEGRAPH WAS THE PRINCIPAL MEANS OF COMMUNICATION. THE CODE NAME FOR E. O. WATTIS WAS "LIBATION" WHICH WOULD HAVE BEEN MORE SUITABLE FOR RAY WATTIS, WHO WAS "LIBELOUS", W. H. WAS "LIBERTY" AND WARREN WATTIS, THE ONLY ONE WHO HAD A COLLEGE EDUCATION, WHICH NEVER SEEMED TO HELP HIM IN THE BUSINESS, WAS "LIBRARY", CONTRACTORS AS A CLASS HAD THE CODE WORD "CHUBBY" AND W. A. BECHTEL WAS "CHUMMY". OF THE COMPANIES LISTED ONLY UTAH AND BECHTEL SURVIVE. IN CLOSING LET ME EXPRESS THE CONFIDENCE THAT OUR TWO ORGANIZATIONS WILL CONTINUE TO SURVIVE AND PROSPER AND THE HOPE THAT IN DOING SO OVER THE YEARS THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN THE TWO GROUPS WILL CONTINUE STRONG AND HARMONIOUS.
