HOWEVER, THE MOST PROMISING OF ALL THE NEWER SOURCES OF ENERGY - NUCLEAR POWER AND THE BREEDER REACTOR - ARE THE SUBJECT OF CONSIDERABLE CONTROVERSY WITH SHARPLY DIVIDED THINKING AMONG VARIOUS SEGMENTS OF THE GENERAL PUBLIC. AS NATIONS SEARCH FOR WAYS TO SOLVE THEIR ENERGY DILEMMA, THE POLITICAL PROCESS AND ITS ABILITY TO SOLVE SUCH A COMPLEX PROBLEM WILL BE SEVERELY TESTED AND MAY NOT SURVIVE IN ITS PRESENT FORM.
